William S. White Sr.

William S. White, Sr. William S. White, Sr., of Williamstown, NJ , and formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, PA passed away on March 17, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Miriam G.White (nee Small). Survivors: Loving father of William S. Jr. (Janice) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Miriam E. (Larry) Mapp of Williamstown, NJ, Alice M. (Stephen) Speck of Philadelphia, PA , Helene M. White of Ridley Park, PA, Edward T. and Christine M. (Robert) Thompson, all of Port St. Lucie, FL. Devoted grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of 10. Dear brother of Elaine (Mike) Fahy, Evelyn Kyle, and the late Carol Hickey and brother-in-law of Helen (Edward) McGoldrick and Janice (Leonard) Puggi, Dolores Small, and Mary Small. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. White was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a printer at the Philadelphia Naval Yard and later at the Naval Hospital. He loved ships and history, something he passed to his family in the trips they would take. He was also an avid airplane model builder and collector. He was active in his family's lives, whether it was his children and their kids, or his nieces and nephews. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 9 to 11 a.m., in Spencer T. Videon of Drexel Hill, PA, 400 Shadeland Ave., Drexel Hill, PA 19026 and his funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment: Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
