COLUMBUS — Barbara Oneta Ross, 88, of Columbus passed away Monday evening, March 1, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born October 3, 1932 in Delaware to the late Merrick and Carrie Irene (Hoffman) Burroughs.
A devoted and faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Delaware, she also served as the financial secretary for many years and was always there for and very supportive of everyone going through their time of grief. She was also a former home health care aid and Hospice volunteer. She enjoyed spending time with her new puppy Carly and her proudest achievement was being a mother.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Carl and her son Michael Burdett Ross.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryl Ross of Columbus and Carla Ross of Santa Monica, California; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Celebration of life services will be held in early May. More details will be announced at a later date.
