George Fry Obituary

George "Martin" Fry III, 68, of Delaware and formerly of Marietta, passed away Monday morning (Dec. 10, 2012) at his home.
He was born March 29, 1944, in New Martinsville, W.Va., to George Martin Fry Jr. and Elizabeth Ann (Tisher) Fry and later graduated from Marietta College in 2005, he retired as senior accountant with Alliance Industries in Marietta. Martin was a huge supporter and fan of OSU athletics and was happiest surrounded by his family and friends. His legacy will live on in his treasured daughters and grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 44 years, Josephine "Jo" (Palmer); two daughters, Alicia Holt of Delaware and Beth Fry of Westport, Conn.,; his parents of Hannibal, Ohio; two grandchildren, Carson and Addison Holt; a sister, Brenda Sue (Brian) Binegar of Sardis; and a nephew, James Feeney Jr. of Sardis.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Drive, Delaware. Celebration of Life Services will follow at 4 p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Cheshire Cemetery.
The Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center is honored to serve the Fry family and condolences may be expressed and memories may be shared by visiting snyderfuneralhomes.com.
