Betty Miles Obituary
Pocomoke City-Betty Sharpley Miles, 82, of Pocomoke City died Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home. Born in Greenbackville on April 28, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Gibb and Kathryn Sharpley.
She was a member of Atlantic United Methodist Church in Atlantic and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 88 in Temperanceville. Betty loved being around people but especially loved spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Carroll Miles of Pocomoke City; a daughter, Kay White and her husband, Robert, of Pocomoke City; three grandchildren, Rob White and his wife, Nicole, Kasey White and Justin White; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Hayleigh White.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at Atlantic United Methodist Church, Atlantic.
Memorial donations may be made to Atlantic United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 159, Atlantic, VA 23303 or Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home P.A., 107 Vine St., Pocomoke City, MD 21851.

Carroll,can't say I know you but when I read daughter of Katherine and Gibb Sharpley.My dad worked in the furniture department at Mont.Wards for years. My parents loved them so much. I'm 84 and should remember Betty as I was a star member and still. 66 years. I moved around so much. Just lost my dear .45 years. In Jan. I'm doing
