Aurora Valenzuela

Aurora Valenzuela, 55, a resident of Deming, NM, went into the arms of the lord on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her residence.
Aurora was born on April 20, 1955 to Manuel Ruiz Aurora Castro in Ascension, Mexico. Aurora was a caring and loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was survived by her loving husband, Andres Valenzuela of Deming, NM.; one son, Carlos Andres Valenzuela of Deming, NM.; two daughters, Veronica Valenzuela and companion Manuel Lopez of Deming, NM and Sonia Valenzuela and her husband Gilbert Marquez also of Deming, NM.; five brothers, Manuel, Fernando, Enrique, Martin and Benjamin Ruiz.; four sisters, Enriqueta Maldonado, Elvira Flores, Angelita Mariscal and Julia Jacquez.; Veronica Granillo mother of Carlos, Diego Valenzuela and Sebastian Granillo grandchildren of Aurora also, as her grandchildren are, Christian Ruiz and his wife Bianca, Lalo Ruiz and his wife Beatriz, Brianna Ruiz, Analis Valenzuela, Monica Marquez and Gabriel Marquez.; three great-grandchildren, Mario Angel Ruiz, Lemily Mya Ruiz and Ezekiel Price.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
Holy rosary will be held at Terrazas Funeral Chapels at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 with Carmen Terrazas reciting. A memorial mass will then follow at St. Ann's Catholic Church at 2 p.m., with father Enrique Lopez Escalera officiating. Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
