Barbara Cody Obituary
Penfield - Sunday April 18, 2021 age 74. Survived by her husband Peter, her children Kyle (Patty) Cody & Danielle Cody, her grandchildren Cain, Xander, Dillon, Mina & Lucien Palmer, her brother Joseph Ragusa and sister Marie Ragusa.
Barbara's Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday May 7th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church (Gebhardt Rd. Penfield). Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

I got to know Barb as she weaved from one building to another, and would often look for her just to say hello. She was a bright and cheerful face in the halls, always friendly. I got to know her also as my Avon lady, and she often made my day with a little treat or two in the bag! Sweet as can be, and considered her a friend. I am so sorry for your loss and miss her dearly. May the Lord give your family strength. God bless you Barb, you are missed.

To the Family and Friends of Barb Cody,
On behalf of the department and myself i would like to express my deepest sympathy and gratitude. Barb was happily employed with us for 20 years! She has and will be greatly missed by all. Barb's recovery and return to work after her motor vehicle accident was a miracle. It showed us all how tough Barb really was. Mixed in with a little stubbornness, she showed up with a smile every day! She just loved those kids!
Barb was very generous. Treats for all occasions were usually handed out by Barb. She also always made sure you got something from Leo's bakery for your birthday. It didn't matter if you were two legged or four legged, she had treats for everyone.
Now it's your turn to be treated Barb. We know how hard you fought. Rest in gods arms and enjoy the peace that he has to offer. Laugh and love with him over a slice of Leo's chocolate cream pie! We love you and miss you.

Barb was so much to so many! I am truly blessed and grateful to have not only been her co- worker but also her friend. Her selfless, giving and caring heart touched my life as well my daughters in a way that will live on forever. Missing you always and loving you forever my friend Soar high and fly free
