Barbara Harradine Obituary
Canandaigua - Barbara L. Harradine, April 19, 2020, at age 78, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Harradine; two children, Mark (Christine) Harradine and Amy (John) Burke; five grandchildren, Ryan Harradine, Shannon, Colleen, Patrick and Cameron Burke; brother-in-law, Ron Kennuth; two nephews; a niece; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Sandra Kennuth.
Barb was born in Buffalo. She worked as a dental hygienist for several years. After she and Tom were married and started their family, Barb became a full time mother and homemaker. They moved from Spencerport to Canandaigua in 1997, where Barb was an active member of the First Congregational Church. She was also a member of the Centerfield Homemakers, Valley Garden Club, P.E.O. Sisterhood and TOPS. Barb enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church, 58 N. Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424, Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456 or your local comfort care home. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Canandaigua. Such a bright beautiful presence has left us and our Church family. Barb always brought a ray of sunshine when she and Tom sat two pews ahead of us. We are new to UCC in Canandaigua, and feel most privileged to have been welcomed by the gorgeous smile of Barb.
Our sincere sympathy to Tom and family--this is a huge loss to bear. She will be in our prayers always.

Dear Tom and family, Henry & I we're so saddened to hear of Barb's passing. She always brought a smile when we would run into you both be it Wegman's or some community event or some volunteer event...wherever. We are all fortunate to have known her. The picture in her obit is quintessential Barbara...what a smile. We look forward to seeing you, Tom, and giving you a hug or at least a heartfelt elbow bump.
