Elizabeth Costello Obituary
(Torregiano)
Avon: May 12, 2011 at age 95. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Boyer; sons, Robert J. Costello, Bruce K. Costello; sister, Rose Torregiano; brother, Anthony (Barb) Torregiano; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Serafine Torregiano; grandchildren, David Heighton, Christine Horton, Jason (Wendy) Costello; great-grandchildren, Alex, Josh, Anthony, Alexis; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leo and Russell Torregiano; sisters, Angeline Rosselli and Josephine Pusateri. Libby was an avid reader and a member of the XYZ Club. She worked at Park Ridge, St. Mary's and Strong as a Nurse as well as Private Duty and retired in 1990.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday 4-8 PM at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon. Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be made to St. Agnes Church or Lollypop Farm in her memory.

Libby was a very beautiful, spiritual lady who had such an embrassing smile. I will truly miss her. It saddened me deeply when I heard this news of her passing when I went to Morgan Estates today to lead the Rosary. Libby never missed the Rosary or Communion services. She is in her heavenly home arranging things as she did at Morgan Estates. My prayers for the whole family and Libby will be remembered tonight at the Prayer Group in my home.
