JOSEPH STELLA Obituary

Joseph L. Stella of Elgin The funeral for Joseph L. Stella, 89, will begin with prayers at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg, proceeding to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 272 Division St., Elgin, for celebration of Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Born May 22, 1921, in Buffalo, N.Y., he passed away Oct. 11, 2010, in Hoffman Estates. Joseph was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the loving husband of Rose M. Stella (nee Minneci); loving father of Joseph N. (Paula) Stella and Mary Ann (the late Michael) Konopacki; loving grandfather of Stephen (Shelly) Konopacki, Michael Konopacki, Aaron (Rachel) Konopacki, Sarah (Jerry) Orozco, and the late David. A. Stella; loving great-grandfather of Tyler Konopacki and Avery Konopacki; and dear brother of Vancy Whittemore and the late Vito Stella. For information, 847-882-5580.
