A Memorial Gathering will be held Tuesday from 5-8 PM at Scobee-Combs- Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 17, 2011 at 10 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach. Those who wish may make a donation to a Scholarship Fund to be established in Judy's memory. I am so saddened by this news, as I only found out minutes ago. I attended high school with Judy and worked with her a great deal in the theatre; what a beautiful person she was! I am so grateful to have known such a wonderful person... I will truly miss her. There wasn't a time that Judy wasn't too busy to help me and I enjoyed working with her. Because of her ideas and guidance I am a better teacher...I am truly shocked and deeply saddened to hear of her sudden death and can only wish nothing but peace for the family at this time.

This day is a very sad one.. We have lost a wonderful teacher and person. Mrs. Licata will be very sadly missed. She had a smile that could light up a room and she always made learning fun. Even after moving on to high school my daughter Elizabeth would visit her often. Our prayers are with her family.

We were so saddened to hear of this sudden and heart-wrenching news.
Judy truly loved what she did. She was always attentive to her students in class.. she worked with all of the kids these past 3 years on productions of her plays "Fame" "Grease" and "Bye Bye Birdie".. she would easily take time after school.. she loved being part of shaping who these kids would become, and made it happen for them whenever it was something she thought would add to the quality of their lives. She made a ~difference~ just by being here.
Lantana is richer for having her. The world will be a friendlier place for having her in it.
Please know that our prayer for you is that in time, the sorrow of losing her will be replaced by the loving memories you were given by knowing and sharing this lovely young woman, this lovely spirit that blessed us all.
