Nancy Grives Obituary
Born in Far Rockaway, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ann (Hollman) Holden.
She was very dedicated to her family and her church, St. Mary of the Mount, Mount Pocono. The family and friends she leaves behind will endeavor to fill their lives without her.
She is survived by nine children, Karen A. Furler of Kunkletown, Christine M. Grives of Harrisburg, Michael D. Grives of Clarks Summit, Amy B. Frutchey of Tobyhanna, Kerry L. Thornton of Lynn Haven, Fla., Jason C. Grives of Newfoundland, Jonathan D. Grives of Swiftwater, Nancy T. Grives of Swiftwater and Ann-Marie E. Grives of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, MaryAnn Lowenstein of Glen Allen, Va., and Carole Marvelli of Baldwin, N.Y.; a brother, Alan Holden of Kissimmee, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.
There will be a viewing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Rev. David Bechtel will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Mount Pocono. Interment will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.

To all the Grives children,
I knew both your mom, Nancy and your father, Charles. We grew up together. Charlie and Nancy had a very loving and strong marriage. I hope they are together again. Nancy was a kind and generous person. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I'm sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to all of you. Your mother was a wonderful person. Me an my sister rachel used to hang out at your house everyday with Ann-Marie and Nancy. I got to know Mrs Grives like a second mom growing up. She use to take us to church, watch us go swiming, and hang out at the house. I wish I could be there for you guys but I am working out of town and there is noway for me to get back right now. My sincere condolences go out to your whole family. Kerry and family,
We are very sorry for the loss of your mom. I have so many wonderful memories of "mom" growing up with Kerry , having shared in so many family things, there's too many to list. She was very special to myself as well as many others and will be greatly missed, but will be in our hearts forever.
