Rick Hock Obituary
Rochester: December 13, 1947-January 18, 2015. At age 67 Rick died of kidney cancer while in hospice care in New York City.
Rick graduated from Visual Studies Workshop in 1981 and worked at the George Eastman House for thirty years. Upon retiring Rick continued to teach and concentrate on his art work.
He is survived by his daughter, Caitlin of Virginia Beach, his son, Ian and daughter in law, Kaitlin of Chesapeake, Virginia, his parents, Dick & Alice of Kearney, Nebraska, brother Greg of West Hartford, Ct, sister Lisa of Munich Germany, and his former wife of many years, Mary.
There will be a gathering to remember Rick on Saturday, March 28 beginning at 4 PM at Visual Studies Workshop, 21 Prince St.
