Terri Clingerman Obituary
North Rose: Terri Anne Clingerman went to her heavenly home on September 5, 2015 at the age of 50 after a courageous battle against cancer. Terri accomplished everything she put her mind to, and did so with passion and grace. She loved life and helped others to do the same.
Terri was an accomplished electrical engineer working for the Xerox Corporation. She was prolific at designing custom ASIC and FPGA chips and was awarded 9 US patents.
She also was an illustrious dog trainer, earning championships in obedience, herding, agility, and conformation. She was an AKC obedience judge, trainer, seminar presenter, club officer and board member, and a mentor to many newcomers to the dog show world.
Terri is survived by her husband Bruce Clingerman of North Rose; parents Nancy Smith of North Rose and Ret. Col. Michael Smith of Pultneyville; sister and brother-in-law Susan and Alain Bergeron of UT; aunt and uncle Mary and Joe Miserak of WI; uncle and aunt Ted and Bonnie Saunders of Groveland; and many friends of the two and four legged variety.
Terri's life will be celebrated at calling hours on Friday, Sept. 25 at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, from 4 to 7 p.m. The celebration continues Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Webster United Methodist Church, 169 E. Main St., starting at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Wayne County.

Please accept my heartfelt sypmpathy on your loss. I was shocked to hear Terri had passed. She was a kind and generous lady...willing to share her knowledge and love of dogs. She never used a harsh word when a soft one would do. I admired her as a handler, a trainer and lovely friend.

I am sorry for your loss. I knew Terri from taking classes from her and seeing at the dog shows. She was always the winner! Her gentle spirit touched the lives of humans and dogs. Accept my deepest condolences.

We didn't know each other well,but I was a great fan of Terri's and her passing saddens me. She was well respected,much loved,and will be sorely missed by all.
