Velma Speer Obituary
N. Greece, NY: Peacefully Sept. 7, 2017. Velma Speer in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, 2002. Survived by her sons, Douglas (Rebecca) & Rodney (Wendy Pena) Speer; 6 grandchildren, Carrie (Matthew) Kibby, Kellie Speer, Ryan (Lacey), Kevin, Matt and Lauren Speer; 6 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marlene (John) Mayer; sisters-in-law, Peggy Speer and Jessie Kirby; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Velma was a life long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Friends are invited to call SUN. 2-4, 7-9 at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 735 East Ave., Hilton. Funeral Service MON. at 11 o'clock at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Ave., Hilton. Followed by Interment Parma Union Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to her Church Memorial Fund in Velma's memory.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Velma. She was a great lady whom I enjoyed knowing very much. Somehow her passing got by me for which I am sorry.

Oh Velma, I have the sweetest memories of you at our reunions., and all your great help "training " me as the next historian. May you knowledge And understanding live on with your children & grandchildren. I will miss you and hope to see you up in heaven. Say hello to my wonderful grandma.
