Carrie Klenda Obituary

Klenda, Carrie Kay
June 2, 1958 - Nov. 11, 2021

Carrie Kay Klenda (Knudsen), gained her angel wings on Nov. 11, 2021 at her home in Golden, Colorado at the age of 63.

Carrie's life may seem to be cut short, but those of us who were blessed enough to be touched by her life, know the mark she left on our hearts exceeds any duration of time. To know Carrie, was to be loved by Carrie. The love in her heart was limitless, and her personality was too big for this world.

Carrie was born June 2, 1958 in Evergreen, Colorado, and took great pride in being a seventh generation native of the state. She graduated from Evergreen High School and became fluent in Spanish while living in Montevideo, Uruguay after graduation.

By profession, she was a real estate agent, flight attendant, and homemaker. By passion, she was an exceptionally gifted seamstress, artist, interior designer, and cook.

She was a loving wife, mother (dog mom too), sister, aunt and friend. Carrie was the life of the party, the hostess with the mostest, and now, heaven's brightest angel.

She made everything special.
She made everyone laugh.
She made life more beautiful.

Carrie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jeffrey Klenda, her son, Jeffrey Klenda II, and her daughter, Lauren Klenda.

Carrie's life will be honored and celebrated on Dec. 10 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. A viewing will take place at 10:30 AM, followed by a Eulogy and Catholic Mass at 11:30 (those who wish to skip the viewing are asked to arrive by 11:15). A formal reception will be held after a brief graveside blessing (lunch will be served).

During the reception, the family will play a video memorial featuring photos of Carrie's life and some of her favorite songs, courtesy of her brother, Kurt. Please send photos to [email protected]

At this time, the Klenda family is not asking for flowers or donations.
