I Dave was my football coach at Hinkely High School in 1986. I still miss that man.

I live back home in Alabama now after graduating from Hinkely High in 2007 where I had the privilege of knowing coach Graham. I sat with him every day between my classes my senior year. He would always let me use his phone to call back home and talk for how ever long I could. He provided such a wonderful Blessing to me helping me with my Graduation fees. This is so heart breaking to me because after searching for him today I come to find this saddening my heart. God rest his soul and may he Bless and cover his family..... For he did great deeds that I know were pleasing to God and It was such a Blessing for me to know him. Professional, kind hearted, firm and about his father's Business! God Bless! Thanks Coach Graham for everything you did for me.

My husband and I worked with David and was glad to have him as a friend. He helped me out of a couple of irate persons at UAL. So sorry to hear of his loss. Prayers for the rest of his friends and family

David was one of my favorite people. I experienced him giving to students the help they needed in their everyday lives at school and home. He did this selflessly, with little fanfare other than knowing he was helping a student in need. He helped me personally with situations that needed some extra attention and I will always be thankful for the time I spent with David.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Graham family.

I was saddened to hear of such a huge loss to the community. Coach Graham was an amazing man. He was tough on us when he needed to be but also very caring, kind, and compassionate. He was so great to me when things weren't the best at home. He will be truly missed. Sending love and prayers to his family.

Coach Graham could be firm yet gentle at the same time. I loved his "Please and Thank you" days with the students. Good times. He will be remembered. Rest peacefully.

He will always be known as "Coach Graham". He was a great influence on the lives of so many youth in Colorado. He coached three of my sons at Hinkley and Central High Schools. He came to our home to visit one of our sons when he was in town for the holidays about 2 yrs ago. He always strived to maintain a relationship with the students he coached.
Remembering that big booming voice of his brings a smile to my face. We have many wonderful memories of Coach that we will cherish!

I knew David for many years from my work in athletics for Aurora Public Schools - both his time at Gateway and Hinkley High Schools and personal interaction at Aurora Public Schools Stadium -- he was a great person and wonderful mentor to many students. RIP David.
