a great teacher..we had such fun (Student Prince.. etc)...

Mrs. Ruston is one of my most admired people. I appreciate that she inspired me to watch ballets, symphonies, and behave with grace.

I was a student in her dance studio for 2 years in the mid 50's. I still have all of my costumes. I have very fond memories of that special time in my life thanks to her. One of the best memories is being on stage at the Elitch Gardens. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

Florence was such a generous person and always had a twinkle in her eye. She loved helping others and bringing people together. She will be greatly missed.

My mom, Claire Kessler Kaplan, adored her cousin Florence. No surprise why: fun, vivacious and always busy with a host of activities.
Cousin Florence is permanently etched in my memory from the photographs we have of her as a dance instructor many moons ago: stunning, sexy and full of life. I shall also always be grateful for the love and attention Florence gave to Mom as a child.
My sympathy to all on the loss of this special lady.
