Jack was a good friend and hiking companion. I still miss him and think about him. Will always miss that great guy. He added light and humor to the world. May his soul rest in peace and I know he is in Heaven with our Lord.

I worked with Jack in Illinois on the Compact for Quality. He always was one of my favorite people. He led many teachers and students to excellence, while humbly continuing to uphold the highest principles of education. He had a profound influence on me.

Rozanne and family,
Mary (Sieben) Barron and Bob "Beaver" Barron are so sorry we weren't able to attend Jack's funeral Mass but we were in Fl. at the time, otherwise we would never have missed it. I was happy to have played ball with him. Not only was he a terrific ballplayer but he was fun to be with. All the guys liked Jackie. It was much too soon but no more pain and he is now with the Lord. I know all of you are heartbroken.
I worked with and played ball with Don (Diz) at S-A and he too was a wonderful player and friend and JoAnn is a wonderful lady.
Please accept our condolences,
God bless you all,
Sincerely,
Beaver and Mary

The Boulder hiking group, of which Jack was a prominent member, holds many fond memories of good hikes, good trips and of a very kind, generous spirited man who was always tuned in to the needs of others with thoughtful caring about his fellow hikers. We all knew how much his family meant to him. We miss Jack but are grateful that he is in peace. Sending love to all of Jack's extended family, Carol Smith

Dr. Proctor touched the lives of so many children over the years in District 89. For 9 years at Westfield he was among my closest friends. He lead the children and their parents with great love and patience. Much of what I know about leadership I learned from him while I was involved in the parent/teacher organization. Jack was a man of integrity, humor, and compassion. He was a light in the lives of many. He will be missed. My sympathy to his family. God bless you all.
