Paul Goebel Obituary
01/29/1937 - 03/06/2022
Paul Crawford Goebel began his journey in Ogden, Utah on January 29, 1937. He was born to mother Amber Ann and father Charles Fredrick Goebel. He and his brother Ellis spent the first 18 years of their lives on the family ranch in Paris, Idaho. Upon graduation from Fielding High School, he attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake and Utah State University in Logan Utah where he graduated with a degree in industrial management. After graduation he went to work for General Motors in Denver, Colorado. While working in Denver he started investing in real estate as a sideline. After seven years he left GM and spent the following years overseeing his real estate holdings.
While in Denver he met Mary Jane Gordon of Lakewood whom he married on June 12, 1976. Paul and Mary spent time in their homes in Golden, CO and Las Vegas, NV. They especially enjoyed foreign travel and took numerous cruises to places like Israel, Egypt, Turkey, and Greece to name a few. During their times in Las Vegas, they enjoyed attending many shows and dining out with good friends. After a long battle with Multiple Myeloma, on March 6, 2022, the Lord called Paul to join him on Paul's final journey. Paul's parents and brother Ellis preceded him in death and Paul is survived by his wife Mary, sister-in-law Nancy and nieces and nephews. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Archdiocese Mortuary Chapel, 12801 W. 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
