Vincent DeLaCruz Obituary

Our father, husband, son and brother, Vincent Martin DeLaCruz, passed away on November 24, 2015, surrounded by his family and friends. He was 54 years old. Vincent was loved deeply by all who knew him. Never was there a man who had a bigger heart or more to give than Vincent. However, there was no one he loved more than his wife and two girls. Vincent was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but lived most of his life in Denver, Colorado. He graduated from Ranum High School and Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2009. Professionally, he spent his career working in the oil and gas industry where he made lifelong friends. Personally, he loved to golf, mountain bike, camp, hike, read, cook, listen to Mexican music, watch the Broncos, and spoil his wife and daughters. In the summer of 2003, Vincent was in a tragic car accident that left him a quadriplegic. However, throughout that ordeal and for the rest of his life, he never ceased being the man he was and making us laugh. Vincent is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Cordova, his grandparents, and several beloved aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Wendy; his eldest daughter, Alexis Marie; his youngest daughter, Brittany Ariana; his mother, Doris; his father, Vicente; his brothers, Theodore and Judas; his sister, Noel; his mother-in-law, Shirley; and his brothers-in-law, Sean and James He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, his five nieces and five nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and countless friends. He will be missed more than words can ever express. Go Broncos! In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Vincent DeLaCruz to the Craig Hospital Foundation, 3425 S. Clarkson St Englewood, 80113.
