Don Krogue Richards
1932~2018
Layton, UT-Don passed away peacefully November 29, 2018, at home surrounded by his family.
Born December 7, 1932, to parents Alton and Phyllis Richards. Oldest of 5 children, his family lived in Ogden. After finishing high school, he attended Weber College and graduated with a two year degree. After one semester at Brigham Young University, Don was drafted into the Army during the Korean War. After serving his country honorably, he continued his educational pursuits, receiving both a Bachelor's degree in math and physics, as well as, a Master's degree in secondary education from Brigham Young University. While teaching math at Utah State University, he finished his Doctorate in Educational Administration.
Don is survived by his second wife, Lynette, 4 children, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held December 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, Utah.
Following the Celebration of Life, graveside services and interment will be held at the Farmington City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to your favorite charity.
