Edward T. Rich

Edward T. Rich 1958 ~ 2003  Edward T. Rich, age 44, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 12, 2003.  He was born on December 30, 1958 in Elko, Nevada to George A. and Dorothy Hughes Rich. He attended and graduated from Beaver High School. He married Julie Schafer in April of 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Ed enjoyed skiing and fast cars. He loved his guitars and driving. He was a perfectionist at work as a printer and held national production records. He was kind and gentle and good to a fault.  Life gave Ed many challenges and many joys but his greatest joy was his daughter Nicole and later his grandson Angel.  He was a beloved son and brother, loving father and lifelong friend.  Ed performed lead roles in many high school musicals and was known for his incredible intellect and sense of humor.  Ed is survived by his daughter, Nicole Jeanne Rich; parents George and Dorothy Rich; sisters Sharon Barrow, Susan Craw and Diane Rich; and brothers G. Michael Rich, James Rich; and one grandchild Angel. He is preceded in death by brother Alan Rich.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary, 547 East 100 South. Family and friends may visit Sunday June 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Monday June 16th one hour prior to the service. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 "N" Street.
