I remember ray's broadcasts on KABC in L.A., his coming to sperdvac conventions, and a program in his honor by a short wave radio club.

A good man that was so good to so many including my family. I remember that voice as a kid and can still hear it now. Our deepest sympathies and best wishes.

A voice from the past...such memories. I worked at KUTA alongside Ray, tho not nearly as well known, but oh the 24 hour marathon from the lobby of the Hotel Utah, his crazy imagination that took his online questions into new and unexplored territory at times...I am a better person for having known him...Thank you for all you entertained and educated....

We stayed up late in Ray's time on radio.
Didn't have all the taping tech, watched
Carson et al on TV, then tuned in KABC
for awhile, maybe til 5, but still went
to work that day. From a KOOKY listener
