Rolf Paul Sandberg

Rolf PaulSandberg 1966 ~ 2004  Rolf Paul Sandberg, age 37, died at home April 8, 2004 in Girdwood, Alaska following a long, courageous battle with a brain tumor. Rolf was born October 27, 1966 to Pam and Rolf J. Sandberg. He lived in Park City, Utah, graduating from Park City High School, class of 1985. Rolf moved to Girdwood, Alaska in 1991. Rolf loved to ski, fish, hunt, cook and take care of others. He was a master of all trades, but primarily an EMT and Ski Patrol member in Park City, Utah; crab fisherman, hunting guide, and race crewman in Alaska. Rolf was a profound soul with a great passion for living. He thrived in the outdoors and in the company of his many friends and family. He was unique, he was genuine, and touched all who met him with his charisma and charm. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Sandberg; daughter, Kylie Sandberg; sister, Kari Sewell, and family; and parents. Services will be 1 p.m. April 17, 2004, Challenge Alaska, Girdwood, Alaska; and 6-8 p.m. April 21, 2004, Utah Olympic Park Daylodge, Park City, Utah.
