Shauna Higley Stevens

Shauna Higley Stevens passed away November 20, 2017. She was born December 9, 1957, the fifth child of Harold and Shirley Higley. She was mother to Jason (Katrina) Stucki, and grandmother to Winston and Vivian.
She loved her family and friends. She spent her summers in Bear Lake water skiing, boating and swimming. She was so proud of her son and loved spending time with him and his family. She would spoil her grandkids with toys and games she would buy while working at the Deseret Industries job training program. She was always willing to paint, decorate, and put glitter on anything her granddaughter wanted.
She loved to travel, going as far as Hawaii and Mexico, but mostly she loved going to The Lake. Any lake where her friends were was The Lake. You could always count on her to pack snacks and treats for a fun weekend.
She is survived by her mother, son, and grandchildren; her sister, Karen, brother, Ralph and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, brother, Bruce and sister, Barbara.
Her family would like to thank the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, her brain injury and substance abuse support groups and all of her supportive friends and loved ones, especially Reg.
Please join us in a celebration of Shauna's life on December 30 at 3 pm at the Liberty Fourth Ward Chapel she attended at 420 South 800 East in Salt Lake City.
