We are heartbroken to announce the death of Stephanie Gaye Tuttle who sadly passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 56.
Stephanie was born on April 27, 1967, at LDS Hospital. She graduated from Cyprus High School. She went on to study at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah in 1988. After Snow College Stephanie wanted to further her education at the University of Utah where she studied psychology and sociology and gained her degree in 1998. In 2019 she became a mindful instructor.
Stephanie met Garrett Tuttle in 1985 and they became inseparable they were the light of each other's lives and were each other's perfect match. Together they had two children: Garrett Zayde Tuttle and Sophia Velate Tuttle. Zayde is married to Ashley and they have three children Sawyer, Silas, and Sage. Stephanie adored her grandchildren and always made an effort to share pictures and memories of the special moments she shared with them.
The loss of Stephanie, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, has left many grieving. Stephanie had a contagious energy that filled any room she entered. She had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and cherished. Her passion for life was evident in her desire to live in the present moment. She had a gift for bringing both joy and tears to those around her, a testament to her free-spirited nature.
Stephanie was a selfless and caring person who always prioritized others in her life and showed exceptional care to everyone she met. She cherished creating memories with her family by living in the present moment and enjoying life. She possessed a remarkable talent for interior design, and with a single room as her canvas, she could create a vision that was both distinctive and captivating. It was evident in her ability to transform her home into a stunning masterpiece. Another talent was her ability to design scrapbooking pages to appear professional and polished. Her eye for aesthetics is truly remarkable.
Stephanie's love for nature, which she considered her second home, was evident in her personality. Hiking was her go-to activity to ensure she met her daily step goals. Golfing was another one of her new recent hobbies, always aiming to improve her game every time she hit the golf course.
Stephanie was known for adding a mermaid emoji at the end of her texts, symbolizing independence, and individuality, her adventurous spirit and fearless nature embodied the symbolism of mermaids as a source of life and renewal.
Her presence was always a delight, and she cherished spending time with loved ones. Stephanie lived life to the fullest, ensuring that every moment was enjoyable and unforgettable, radiating energy and vitality, making every moment with her an exciting experience. Stephanie's memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her sister Jenny Petty, grandparents Eldon & Ella Chavis, Elvin and Luana Turner, and Boyd and Evelyn Petty.
Stephanie is survived by her loving husband, Garrett Tuttle & beautiful children Zayde (Ashley) & Sophia and the light of her life, her 3 grandchildren, Sawyer, Silas, & Sage. Parents, Larry Chavis and Craig & Gayla Petty. Brothers, Justin and Michael Petty, Sister Angela Loertscher as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held at Walker Funeral Home, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660 on July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends may gather for a viewing at Walker Funeral Home on Friday evening, July 7, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as on Saturday morning, July 8, 2023 from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
