I worked with Emily for six years, when she was an SLP in my area schools at Grant Wood. She was a joy, always with a passion for speech pathology, but even more so for the children and families she supported. May you share in many great memories of a life so enjoyed.

Emily was my intern supervisor at Grant Wood. She was an amazing teacher and SLP. She taught me to LOVE working in the schools and it is because of her that I took a job with Grant Wood and have now been there for 15 years. I will miss seeing her at our meetings. It was an honor for me to know her. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Emily was my very good friend in high school and after we both had grown up, whatever that means!. We last talked a few years ago, but could pick up where we had left off. She was such a caring person and had such deep emotions about people and things she cared about. I will miss her.

I met Emily through work as an SLP. Her sense of humor, bright intellect, and willingness to help others are what I appreciated most about her. I grieve with you in your loss. I'm encouraged by the words..to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
