John Chandler Obituary
Des Moines
John W. Chandler, age 54 died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 at Caldwell Raddatz Funeral Home, 8201 Hickman Road, Urbandale. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until Noon on Friday. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
John was born on February 20, 1957 in Des Moines, IA, to Kenneth and Naomi (McClure) Chandler. He worked for Fawn Manufacturing for the past 32 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing, hunting, and spending time at the family cabin in Minnesota.
John is survived by his wife, Jody; children, Jenny (Carl) Moses, Stacy (Don) Eveland, John Chandler Jr., and Joe (Erin) Chandler; eight grandchildren; and his sister, Linda Piper. He was preceded in death by his parents.
