Larry Patuano Obituary
Grass Lake - Larry L. Patuano Sr. of Grass Lake, age 75, passed away July 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Patuano; mother, Helen Dawley and step-father, Harry Dawley.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joanne; son, Larry Jr.; daughter, Jessica (Gary) Sutliff; beloved dog, Peaches; 5 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He retired with 31 years of service from the Detroit Police Department. He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his story telling and sense of humor.
In his younger years he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved bowling on mixed leagues with his wife, Jo. He enjoyed going on flights to pancake fly-ins with his daughter, Jess, and long road trips with his son, Larry.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-6 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Sherwood Funeral Home, Grass Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Please sign Larry's guest book at sherwoodfh.com.
