Rebecca Rankin Obituary
Formerly of Bloomfield, MI - Dr. Rankin died on Sunday March 25, 2018. She was born August 6, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the eldest child of Sam and Marie (King) Monaster. Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Christine Jordan; brothers, Dort Monaster and Telles Monaster. She is survived by her brother, Tony Monaster (Brenda); sister, Elane (Lazaros) Haney; brothers, Thomas Lazaros (Linda), Costa Lazaros (Linda;) and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of Becky's life will be held April 14 at Peoples's Church, 500 W. Main Street in Pinckney, MI from 11:00-12:00 with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation or charity of your choice.

Dr. Rankin was the BEST Principal at Waterford Mott High School. She ran a "tight Ship" back in 1981-1983.
She was "OLD SCHOOL" in her administration and as a Principal...and THAT was a Great thing.
She was someone who was easily respected.
She was a remarkable Woman !!
