Isidro Parra Obituary
Service: Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington, the Rev. Jim Gigliotti, T.O.R., officiating. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with a rosary beginning 7 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Isidro was born July 30, 1936, in Skidmore to Julian Parra and Nellie Benavides. He had resided in Arlington since 1970. Isidro retired from Coors Distributors and continued working in sales for Finish Masters. He liked to dance and enjoyed barbecuing and spending time with family and friends. Isidro was funny and enjoyed telling jokes. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Israel Parra; and brother, Israel Rodriguez.
Survivors: Wife, Diama Parra; sons, Henry Rodriguez, Isidro Parra Jr.; daughters, Teresa Martinez and husband, Jose, Julia Saenz and Nellie Parra; brothers, Guale Rodriguez and wife, Brenda, and Gilbert Parra and wife, Letha; sisters, Elida Silvas, Sophie Covert, Ophelia Ramirez and husband, Antonio; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
