Condolences to the family and friends of Jerry. I have fond memories of Jerry from the early days with my late husband, Hershel Penney, who was the brother/brother-in-law of Marilyn and Gene Riley. Sorry to hear of his passing.

It's been quite some time since I saw Jerry, but we use to work iron jobs together. My dad, Bill Shewmaker, hung' a lot of iron for the Elliott's since back in the late fifties and once I broke out and on a smaller crane, got my share, too. Jerry was very methodical in his supervision, yet, still able to make the job quite pleasurable. I always looked forward to working for them. Never a disappointment. They don't have the same iron-hanging qualities today that we enjoyed in the past. Hang a beam for us, Jerry, until we meet again!
May God be with the family during this time of mourning. Jerry will be greatly missed.

John and I have so many memories of great times spent with Jerry and JoAnn over the years we lived in Tx. What a character Jerry was! "MR. WALMART". He knew every inch of every Walmart in the area and of course, sharing his super buys!!!! And the deer lease is a book in itself!!!!! Jerry will be greatly missed , but will not forgotten. We love you Jerry. We know you will still be hunting!!!
