John Morris Obituary
November 15, 1944 - April 16, 2020
Fort Worth, Texas - Mike Morris passed away last year due to Alzheimer's and complications from a blood clot.
A private military burial was held June 25, 2020.
His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, 4 PM at St. Anne's Church, 6055 Azle Ave., Lake Worth, TX 76135.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Anne's Church.
Mike was born in Shawnee, OK, lived in Tecumseh, OK and later lived in Dallas and Richardson, TX. He graduated from Richardson High School, Texas Tech University and earned a Master's degree from the University of Arkansas. He served for 22 years in the Air Force followed by 20 years with American Airlines.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Gene and Urban Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Morris; children, Carolyn Godavitarne and Scott Morris; grandchildren, Alex and Emma Godavitarne plus Jack and Max Morris.
