Luis Diaz Obituary

Luis Diaz, 80, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment: 12:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Arlington Funeral Home, with rosary at 7. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice. Luis was born Nov. 16, 1931, in Knippa to Salome and Hortencia Diaz. He was a TCU graduate and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Serra Club. Luis worked for General Dynamics for 11 years and Vought for 24 years. Survivors: Wife, Rosa Diaz; daughters, Jo Ann Diaz, Patricia Esquivel and Diane Ornelas and husband, Robert; sons, Mark Diaz, Luis Diaz Jr. and Frank Diaz and wife, Ann; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters.

Veronica, I am so sorry for you families lose. It is really hard to let go as I just did my Mother. May you have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that you Grandfather is in a beautiful place with no pain, bring you peace.
