Rise Vaeth Obituary

Rise Vaeth, 59, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, after a brief illness. Rise was born Oct. 30, 1956, in Huntsville, Ala. She was a loving, vibrant, charismatic and courageous person who helped many people during her life. Rise loved her sons, Alex and Reid, with all her heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors: Son, Reid Vaeth; mother, Helen E. Kalp; brothers, John Massey, Paul Massey and John Kalp; sister, Vickie Vale; and many nieces and nephews.

I will be missing you until we see each other in heaven. Reid your mom just absolutely loves you and always will. I am so sorry you have lost her. Love and hugs and kisses from Denmark where you are always welcome. Rise is and was one of my best and longest friends ever. She worked for my dad at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. She was one of the prettiest and most kind persons I have ever been graced to know and call my beloved friend.

I posted a message yesterday and forgot to
Leave my name.
I've known Rise since the 4th grade in Arlington,Texas
We stayed in touch thru all of these years on and off..
We ran into each other at a children's clothing store back when Alex was 4-5 years old..
We recognized through our voices in that store and quite the moment it was looking for each other and found each other again.
What a small world we have!
We had so many many days and nights of reliving our past years!
We're the kind of friends that it doesn't matter how long of not seeing or talking to each other we remained the best of friends..unconditionally.
Until Alex's passing we were so close again.i
Things happened that kept us apart..
So my heart breaks of the news of Rise dying ..
I have so many good memories of our lives when were together and you could not ask for a better friend to have a path with..
Life just happens and not always for the best.
Rise was a very loving person and loved her boys so much..
She loved her mother and family so much! I'm leaving my name now and if someone in her family could please call me I would so appreciate you for taking the time.
Rise.. I wish you would've called.

Rise, I just found out today that you've passed away.
I'm deeply so sorry I haven't been there for you like I use to be. I've lost my two sisters and two brothers and now my mother last Christmas Day.
I had become somewhat of a by myself person.
And I'm so sorry about Alex as we were talking back then.
I know Reid will miss you and your sister and brothers.
O and I hope Helen is doing okay.
My Prayers go out to you all.

Rise' and I have been best friends for 45 years. She was my soul sister and bff since 10th grade. Now I feel like a piece of my soul has been ripped away from me.
