Robert Andrews Obituary

Robert W. "Bob" Andrews, 88, of Fort Worth passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: noon Saturday in Davis-Morris Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Brownwood with Ted Kell officiating. Burial: Eastlawn Memorial Park.

He was born to George Thomas and Vetrice White Andrews on June 30, 1917, in Brownwood. He attended Brownwood schools and married Eva Murl Thomas in June 1938 in Brownwood. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Bob was founder and former owner of Eagle Transport Co. and Shasta Ford Sales in Big Spring, Andrews Ford Mercury in Rockwall and Andrews Transport Inc. in Fort Worth.

Bob was predeceased by his parents in 1980 and a brother, Howard G. Andrews.

Survivors: Wife of 67 years, Eva Murl Andrews; sons, Bob Andrews and wife, Diana, of Southlake and Bill Andrews and wife, Mary, of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Eva, My prayers are with you and your family. I always looked forward to his appts. Cheerful laugh and that little spring in his step. Thinking about Bob will always leave a smile on my face! Love you, Dawn

I am proud to have known Bob and was impressed by his work effort, accomplishments, loyalty to church and his family. I know he will be missed by all.

We all at Dr. Whittle's office will miss Bob so much. I have enjoyed knowing Bob and giving him a hard time when came in. Eva if there is anything we can do to help you though this time let us know. cindy
