Fort Worth, Texas - Steven Ray Rice, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Steve was born January 17, 1960, in Minden, W.V. to Bert, Jr. and Wilma Rice.
Steve was a diesel mechanic, taking pride in his job. He loved turning wrenches and hearing those engines run. Steve was a devoted husband, father, and brother. He had a servant's heart; always there to lend a hand. Steve's favorite pass time was spending his time with family and friends. Steve was a member of Crossway Baptist for 11 years. Steve will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Larry and Ronald Rice, Janet Forren and Scott Evans.
Steve is survived by his wife of 39 years, Michele Rice of Fort Worth; sons, Corey Rice of Paradise, Brandon Rice of Newton, MS and Travis Rice of Fort Worth; siblings, Richard Rice of KY, Sandra Arrington and Beverly Toney both of WV, Billy Rice of KS, Daniel Evans, Melanie Miller, Trena Thomas, Angela Evans, Tammy Jones and Christy Thomas all of WV and 7 grandchildren.
Graveside Service: 10am, Friday, May 27, 2022 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Steve will be so missed. He was the Best Friend one could ask for. I feel Blessed that Our Paths crossed in Raleigh NC. I will always remember our wonderful memories of Steve, Michelle and the Boys!! You will be in my Prayers Forever!! Sending My Thoughts, Prayers, Love And Huggs!!
