Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Western Hills Baptist Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

Wanda was born Aug. 8, 1933, in Houston, to Walter Jewel Bell and Donnie Culp Bell. She was the fourth of five children. Her immediate and extended family always maintained an extremely loving and close relationship. She married Hayden E. Hatcher on Aug. 16, 1952, in Houston. While he was serving in the Air Force and attending graduate school, they lived for a short time in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Albuquerque, N.M. After this, they moved to Fort Worth where they resided the remainder of their lives. Wanda was a longtime member of Western Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed participating in many activities there. Her children and grandchildren were blessed to have a close and loving relationship with her. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with each one, offering her encouragement and support of all their activities and endeavors. Her family and friends were blessed to be a part of her life and she will be deeply missed.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hayden Hatcher; her parents, Walter Jewel Bell and Donnie Culp Bell; sister, Dolores Bell; and brother, Walter Jewel Bell Jr.
Survivors: Son, Duane Hatcher and wife, Dale of Des Moines, Iowa; daughters, Cyndi Becker and husband, Bruce of Fort Worth and Lisa Kelley and husband, Jim of Fort Worth; beloved grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, and Landon Hatcher, Conner and Cameron Becker, and Hunter and Sarah Kelley; sisters, Janie Corrigan and husband, Brad of Dallas and Jeweleen Alford of Houston; sisters-in-law, Alice Bell of Montgomery and Hettie Elizabeth Benham of San Antonio; and numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews; and a host of wonderful friends.
