Ada I. Jones

JONES Ada I. Jones, age 89, a resident of Stygler Commons, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Ada was a native of Australia, and even though she loved her native land, the day she became an American citizen was one of the proudest days of her life. She is a member of Gahanna Community Congregational Church, very active at Stygler Commons a member of Gahanna Senior Citizens, the Red Hat Society, Sewing Circle and the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her husband John E. Jones. She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. (fiance, Jan Eastman) Jones; grandchildren, Brandee Jones, Sheri Jones, Jonathan Jones; great-grandson, Jordan; and many helpful and loving friends from Stygler Commons. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2008, at the Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Steve Brown, officiating.
