Audrey Ann Barr

BARR Audrey Ann Barr, age 81 of Galloway went home to be with her Lord Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was born December 15, 1930 in Columbus the daughter of the late Guy and Helen Brink. Audrey was a devoted member of Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church of West Jefferson. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother; Audrey was above all a woman with a beautiful faith that she lived everyday. She showered her abundant love on her beloved family and everyone that she knew. She had a kind and generous heart. She is survived by her husband, James R. "Jim" Barr; four children, Deborah Norris of Galloway, Donna Heron of Davie, Fl., James Barr Jr. (Carole) of Galloway, and Bradley Barr (Amy) of Findlay; nine grandchildren, Colin Norris, Brad, Kelsey and Courtney Heron, Lauren Heron Goodson (Kellon), Andrew and Kara Barr, Maria Barr George (Jared), and Julie Barr; nine great grandchildren; brother, Eugene Brink of Columbus; sister, Francille Snouffer of Cincinnati, and many friends. Audrey was a past member of the Sts. Simon and Jude Alter Society and the Women's Guild. She was also a member of the "Lunch Bunch". Audrey was a founding member of The Friendship Club. Family and friends may call 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday in the RADER-MCDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson with a Vigil Wake Service at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday in Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 9350 High Free Pike, West Jefferson. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, Ohio.
