Deitra Borrows

Borrows Deitra "Dee" Borrows, age 68, of Upper Arlington, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 after a brief illness. Dee was born in Wauseon, Ohio and grew up in Montpelier, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy and Feo Miller. Dee graduated from Montpelier High School, Class of 1962. Dee previously worked as a traffic reporter for more than 10 years at WNCI 97.9 where she was known as Dee Miller. Dee was a very compassionate woman who had a great sense of humor. She was artistic and enjoyed painting, pottery and stained glass work. She was also well traveled, held a pilots license, and was a member of Twig 6. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 49 years, John; sons, Bob and Jim (Susan); daughter, Becky (Dan) Harrigan; grandchildren, Krissy, Jessica, Mackenzie, Danny, and Daisy; great-granddaughter, Chloe; brother, Kent (Joy) Miller of Washington, Pennsylvania; and a multitude of friends she touched during her exceptional life. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2012 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
