Donald P. Dill

Dill Donald P. Dill, 82, passed away May 6, 2014. He was born August 22, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to Mildred and Harry Dill. He held an Undergraduate degree from Capital University and an Education degree from The Ohio State University. Don was employed by Bexley City Schools for 35 years primarily as a sixth grade teacher. He also served as an officer in the Navy during the Korean War. Don was an active member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. Don loved sports and was a lifelong Buckeye sports fan. He played baseball competitively in high school and college and continued to be active in softball, volleyball, basketball and running throughout his life. Don was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Cathleen D Dill. He is survived by children, Cynthia Cote (Stephan) from Hilliard, Ohio and Douglas Dill (Renee) from Glen Ellyn, Illinois; grandchildren, Caitlyn Cote, Brandon Cote, Maxwell Dill, and Makayla Dill; sister, Gloria (Vearl) Loader.
