Earl Dun Obituary

Dun Earl Owen Dun, 81, Columbus, passed away Friday, March 01, 2013. Earl was born in Columbus, OH on December 15, 1931, to William S. and Bonnie (Smith) Dun and is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ralph William Dun, brother-in-law George Savoy. Survivors include his daughter, Betsy (Kelley) Dun; son, Bill (Laura) Dun; sister, Duon Savoy; grandchildren, Josh, Ashley (Andrew), Jordan, Abbie; former wife, Ellie Dun; three nieces; and friends. Earl was a graduate of Grandview Heights High School, served in the US Army and graduated from Ohio University. He was a life long Director of Computer Programming. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2012, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (www.TheAFTD.org). Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
