Eva Marie (Herbert/Oskey) Eickstaedt nee Leslein. Psalm 86-11 Teach me your way Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Eva went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 6, 2018. Born Feb, 17, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. Eva was preceded in death by her father Ralph Leslein, mother Helen Leed, stepfather Earl Lee, grandson Michael Herbert, daughter-in-law Rebecca Herbert and husbands Donald Herbert, Ermil Oskey and Eugene 'Ike' Eickstaedt. Eva graduated from Columbus West High School in 1952. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross in Punta Gorda, FL. Before moving to Florida in 1992, she enjoyed Ballroom Dancing and it was very dear to her heart and she enjoyed many friends from that part of her life. Eva is survived by 4 sons, Ronald, N.Carolina, Ralph (her caretake for the past decade), Randy, Ohio and Rusty, Ohio; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation will be handled by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation in Punta Gorda, FL. A private graveside service will be held at Kingwood Memorial Park at a later date. Donations can/may be made in her name to the St. Judes Organization.
