F. Daun Peterseim

Peterseim F. Daun Peterseim, born April 8, 1921, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014. He graduated from North High School in Columbus in 1938 and in 1942 from The Ohio State University with a Chemical Engineering Degree. He was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers and served in the South Pacific (1942-1946), retiring as a Captain. Daun married Dorothy Andrews in 1942 before going overseas. Their three children are Debra Peterseim (Jim), Donna McGarry (Jim), and Dean Peterseim (Nancy). They have six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Daun worked for Battelle for 38 years and retired 1983. He became VP of Battelle's Olentangy Mgmt. Co. Long-time active member of North Community Lutheran Church, where friends may gather with the family the hour before the Memorial Service, to be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2014. The family asks that any contribution in Daun's memory be given to North Community Lutheran Church, 114 Morse Rd., Columbus, 43214.
