Harry Clay Obituary

Harry J. Clay Harry J. Clay, 74, died peacefully at home on September 28th, 2010. Mr. Clay was a graduate of Indiana University and a rated chess player while living in Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army, Special Forces/Airborne, stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. He taught in the Math Department at Waukegan H.S. from 1966 until his retirement in 1992, and was a past-president of the Waukegan H.S. Teacher's Union Local 504. Harry loved the City of Chicago for its theater and music, spending many retirement years visiting the city with his wife, but always returned home to Waukegan. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Clay, his daughter Christina Clay, M.D. and grand-daughters Ellen and Charlotte Morris. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
