Howard William Tucker

Tucker Howard William Tucker born September 23, 1937; age 76, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2014. Born in Columbus, Ohio to Ted and Opal Tucker. He was a retired fire fighter from the city of Columbus; a Navy veteran. He was an avid clogger for Teays River Cloggers. He enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors and bluegrass music. Survived by his wife, Shelby of 58 years; daughter, Cindy Donohoe (special friend, Stuart MacLeod); son, Kelly Tucker (Barb Tucker); grandsons, Ryan Donohoe (Heather Mets), Josh Maynard (Hannah Maynard); great-grandchildren, Carter and Lillian Maynard; cousin, Bill Tucker of PA; cousin, Margie Derr of Logan. A Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. John Colburn officiating with the interment following in Muhlenberg Township Cemetery in Darbyville. A military service will be performed by the Circleville Amvets Post #2256 for the Navy veteran.
