As a fellow Grade School and High School classmate of John's I was deeply saddened by the news of his passing. You should read the wonderful sentiments being shared on social media by so many of us that knew him as a young man. To John's Family, especially his Children. Even back in those awkward years of Junior High your Father was "Cool." Yes, you heard me right. Stop laughing. But one of the things that made him so loveable was that he still had a sense of humility. He still had the ability to laugh at himself. His personality transcended all those barriers that separated us into different social groups. Even though I said Cool earlier, he also possessed the ability to be a Nerd, a Dweeb or a Geek. These were the reasons why EVERYBODY liked John. His presence will be missed by so many of us that were close to him when. So to you his Family and close Friends, you have our deepest sympathy for your great loss. But please be assured by the outpouring of Prayers and Good wishes coming your way. God Bless!

Vickie and daughters I am so sorry for the loss of John. I remember when the two of you got married and when you had your daughters. You have wonderful memories. John will be cheering for the Buckeyes and Reds. May he RIP.
