Leslie Griffith Obituary

GRIFFITH Leslie Dennis Griffith, age 75, died peacefully Thursday morning at 11:59 a.m. in his home. He retired from Kroger's Bakery after 32 years of faithful service. He was born in Robbins, Tennessee on March 13, 1935. He was preceded in death by his wife Lydia Griffith, his parents Les and May Griffith, his infant sister, his brother Kenneth Griffith. His surviving family includes his children, sons Marcus (Gina) Griffith, Greg Griffith; daughter, Rose Marie Griffith. He was also survived by brothers, Glen (Linda) Griffith, Doug (Phyllis) Griffith; sisters, Jenny (Jerry) Robertson, Derita (Ronnie) Gunter, Gennell (Zanesville) Marshall, Sherry (Roy) Stanley, Sue Stovall, Georgia Madigan; friend, Bonnie Streeter; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St, Columbus, OH 43207. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m., Reverend Stout officiating. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery, Lithopolis, OH.
