Dear Lisska Family,
My brother told me about your Dad's death and it made me very sad. Some of my earliest memories are of your Dad doing various jobs around St. Thomas, particularly when he was playing Santa Claus! (However, I didn't know that until later). I know that our parents were friends and hopefully they are all getting together over a glass of pivo now. May the fact that your Dad had so many friends comfort you now.

What an honor to have known Stan. He was such a wonderful man. You will be surprised at how often your thoughts will turn unexpectedly to him...and what a blessing those moments will be. My sincere sympathy to the family, I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I truly believed all those quarters in my ears would be there some rainy day if needed! Mr. Lisska never failed to amaze me with his wonderful magic tricks or his jolly “Ho, Ho, Ho” every year as he appeared as Santa Claus! Thanks for the memories!

Hello Family of Stanley Liska.
My name is Debbie Dresback Frase and I was born and raised in Ohio. My mother was Kathryn Varner Dresback. I was always led to believe that Dorothy and Stanley were cousins but now am not sure. Possibly Dorothy was a Sorority Sister to Kathryn?
Stanley had a long life, you are so fortunate to have had him with you for so long. I know there will always be a void now that he has passed, but he will live on in your hearts and memories.
